For those who missed the post on Facebook this week, ‘Who Gives A Crap’ (WGAC)Ā toilet paper is the latest discovery for this Hunter Gatherer – but have I tried it, you ask?
Introducing Who Gives A Crap Toilet Paper
There are so many reasons to get excited about a company such as this:
- 50% of profits go to Wateraid and other companies working to develop high impact sanitation products in the developing world
- Australian owned. Ethically produced
- Made using 100% post-consumer waste paper sourced from local schools
- Contains no chlorine, inks, dyes or scents
- Biodegradable
- Safe for septic tanks
- Individually wrapped in snazzy paper – not plastic
- Free delivery to over 70% of Australia
- Regular subscriptions available
But you don’t need to hear all that from me, you can jump on theirĀ website to read how they are determined to –
“WIPEOUT POVERTY ONE ROLL AT A TIME”.
The inspiration for this post is in response to the question put to meĀ by a few readers of the CWMS Facebook page:-
“Have you tried this yet?”
The colourful roll was looking so great sitting in the bathroom I was reluctant to open it, but since you asked I do aim to please…
Review – Who Gives A Crap Toilet Paper
My feedback for this product is to simply reinforce my promise to you, the CWMS community, which is to never promote anything via this blog that I haven’t personally used and consequently approve of.
A picture speaks a thousand words so, the last image in the sequence above is provided so you can decide for yourself if you Give A Crap. It shows the transparency (if any)Ā between WGAC and the usual brand we use at home, in the best wayĀ I could think of.

My order for a full box has been placed and I am looking forward to having many positive conversations with curious visitors who will inevitably admire the cheerful packaging.
Looks like I have also found my new practical present idea for all those people I love to shop for who already have enough ‘STUFF’ – might start with sending a box as a house warming present… š¤
#BeTheChange
There is nothing like using your consumer power to positively reinforce and support companies who are not only providing a service or product for our usageĀ but then in turn, use their success towards providing a better future for people in desperate need.

If Who Gives A CrapĀ becomes a company you decide to support, I am confident that when you sit for your quiet reflection during the day, you can relax with a confident and proud smile. The world you are supporting is one where everyone is entitled to sit comfortably and have access to adequate sanitation to prevent ongoing disease.
